Do you find yourself wanting to create a home bar area that’s perfect for when you have guests over? Want a fun place to hang out or even impress others with your skills as a bartender? Does the thought of stocking a home bar seems like an overwhelming and daunting task?
I’m here to help and can honestly tell you it’s not! My goal is to keep it easy and simple so that you can have the perfect starter bar that has everything you need for yourself or when you have friends over.
There are a few things to consider when creating this area including your budget, your personal style/taste and storage space. Having an overcrowded bar can be a difficult area to work in and makes it difficult for guests to see what is available.

Once you have determined your budget and understand your storage space you can start shopping. WHOOP WHOOP!!!
Classic Cocktails were created ages ago, but we can make them perfectly only by adding love, shaking with technique and stirring with passion and serving with a smile
Below is a simple checklist to guide your through this process.

Mixers:
o Soda, Soda Water, Tonic Water
o Fruit juices- Pineapple and Cranberry are perfect.
o Angostura or Orange Bitters
o Simple Syrup
o Martini Olives, Cherries, Fresh Citrus
Tools:
o Cocktail Shaker- choose the style you are most confident using.

Of course, there are certain things you may want to have on hand depending on your tastes or preferences such as, wine, beer, Triple Sec and a Vermouth. Remember, fresh citrus is always important to have on hand because it tastes better by adding a bright and fresh flavor to your cocktails.
Make setting up your home bar fun and make sure to add your personal flare. Stock it with items that represent you and your tastes. The most important thing out of all of this is to have choices that you enjoy and can share with others.
Cheers and Happy Bartending!!!
